Now close your eyes and ears to what man says to you It’s just another fallen head talking without a clue
There’s a God in heaven whose speaking to us you see
He says you need to be holy, because I am holy

Let me say something I’m sure you haven’t heard
To be an enemy of God, go make friends with the world
Ability not to sin, God has given you
By faith let’s take God’s truth and let us be renewed

Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see
The fullness of the Lord God in all His glory
And don’t you dare think that just one sin is OK
Because it put your Lord, you say you serve, on Calvary

God has not called us to uncleanness, but to be like Him
If you call yourself a Christian, then you follow after
Peace, love and faith, along with them that call on the Lord with a pure heart

Never ceases to amaze me, when I see the church and see
What I thought was the church, but when you get up close and look, it’s just the world and all it’s pleasures masquerading as the light

When are we, gonna take God seriously
When are we, gonna be holy
When are we, gonna separate ourselves from the world
