Hell

Jesus describes hell as a place of torment…suffering…anguish…weeping and gnashing of teeth…outer darkness…everlasting punishment…lake of fire.
Wrath
Col 1:21- you’re an enemy of God in your mind through wicked works
John 3:36- God’s wrath abides on you
Eph 2:3- you’re by nature a child of wrath
Heb 10:31- It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God
Grace
John 3:16-18
Rom 5:8…God commends His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Eph 2:8,9…For by grace you are saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is a gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast
Isa 64:6…we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags. Salvation isn’t from (certain church, bible, prayer, calling God a certain name, etc.)
Faith
James 2:19… devils also believe…and tremble
Rom 13:14…put on the Lord Jesus Christ…
Faith is trusting or relying on God for your salvation like trusting a parachute to save you from a jump or like trusting a chair to hold you up when you sit down on it.
Repentance
Luke 13:3…unless you repent you will perish
Acts 17:30…God commands all men everywhere to repent
Uniqueness of Jesus
1 Cor 15:3,4…Jesus died was buried and rose again…
John 14:6…Jesus is the ONLY way, the truth and the life
Mark 10:6…ONLY Jesus has the power to forgive your sins
Matt 5:44…John 16:2,3…talked of blessing and loving enemies not killing them, like false religion does
Heb 4:15…He was sinless, perfect in thought, word and deed
