-Evolution says that man has been here for 3 million years! If that were true then the population would be about 250,000 people per square inch! (see graph)
Discovery Channel, May 12, 2002- “Based of DNA, scientists are now putting forth a theory that there was a catastrophe 70,000 years ago that reduced the human population to a few thousand creating a genetic bottle neck. They propose that a volcano causes this near extinction of mankind.” Duh! We came from Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth just over 4400 yrs ago.
The Moon
It is getting farther away from the earth about 3 inches a year. That means the moon used to closer. But that would create a problem since the moon causes the tides. This fact alone puts the age of the Earth/Moon system at less than 1.2 billion year max. (In the beginning by Walt Brown)
Magnetic Field Earth’s magnetic strength has declined 10% in the last 150 years.(Astronomy and the Bible Donald DeYoung, p.18)
1. It cannot be billions of years old, - 25,000 max.
2. Carbon dating cannot work for more than a few thousand years.
3. There are no magnetic reversals on the ocean floor. There are only areas of weaker magnetism.
Pangea Theory Africa has been shrunk nearly 40% and Mexico and all of Central America has been taken out!
-If you take the water out of the oceans there is dirt underneath! The continents are still connected!
Earth’s Rotation It is spinning 1041.6 mph at the equator, but it is slowing down. Every year to year and a half they half to add a second to the clock because the earth is slowing down. A leap second. (Astronomy Magazine, June 1992)
Since the earth is slowing down that means it used to be faster. A 6000 year old earth is no problem. If you go back millions of years the centripetal force and the Coriolis effect would be enormous. Dinosaurs could not have lived 200 millions years ago. They would have been blown off the earth!
The Sahara Desert
The prevailing wind pattern causes the hot air blow off the desert to kill the plant life and make that desert. It is called desertification. It is about 4000 years old. (see: Potsdam Institute Climate Impact Research in Germany, July 15, 1999 Geophysical Research letter.) If the Sahara is only 4000 years old why don’t we have a bigger desert some place? It started forming after the flood 4,400 years ago.
The Lost Squadron
Some people were digging holes through ice in Greenland and said they went through ice rings. But they are not annual rings. Ice rings occur from the temperature being warm, cold, warm, cold, not summer, winter, summer, winter. In Dallas you can warm and cold a couple times a week!
Petrified Trees
Petrified trees are found standing up going through rock layers proving the geologic column is not true. (A Text-Book of Geology by Charles Schuchert) It happened during the Flood. Petrification does not take millions of years. A petrified cowboy leg, firewood, and a fish giving birth were all found. It doesn’t take millions of years to give birth!
The Mississippi River
It deposits 80,000 tons of mud every hour into the Gulf of Mexico. The Delta has about 30,000 years worth of mud. If the earth is millions of years old why isn’t the whole golf of Mexico full of mud by now? Half of the mud ran off into the Delta during the Flood. Trees have been found standing up, under 14,000 feet of mud. (Dan Gunter, 225-775-1990)
Oldest Tree
A Bristle Cone Pine in Southern California is 4,300 years old. Trees can produce up to 2 rings a year. Why don’t we have an older tree around if the earth is millions of years old?
The Great Barrier Reef
Less than 4200 years old found in Australia.
Niagara Falls
It has been studied for the past 200 years and is estimated that it erodes backwards 4.7 feet a year. Charles Lyle, in Principles of Geology, said it took 10,000 years to go as far as it has. (He hated the Bible) That book destroyed Darwin’s faith as well. The water goes over into a gorge that is 7.5 miles long. If the earth millions of years old why hasn’t the river eroded all the way back to Lake Erie? Half of the gully washed out in 20 minutes during the Flood. So it looks like it has taken 8400 years; no, they forgot the Flood.
Salt in Ocean
The rain washes mineral salts into the ocean. Today the oceans are 3.6% salt. That could have happen in less than 5000 years. How did the fresh water fish survive the flood if the ocean is salt water? Well the ocean was not salty4400 years ago like it is now. There probably were not any salt-water fish either. Over 4400 years some animals have become adapted to salt water, which is a variation within the kind of animal (Micro-evolution). Today we have fresh water crocodiles and alligators and salt water crocodiles. That is a minor change compared to what evolution says. That the croc evolved from a rock!
Stalactites and Stalagmites
Evolutionist’s say the cave formations took millions of years: 2.5 inches per thousand years. In the 60’s, 60-inch stalactites were found under the Lincoln Memorial built in 1922. In Indiana there’s building with huge flowstone formations within 40 years! Over 10 feet long stalactites in the 55 year old lead mine in Mt. Isa, Australia.
