This book is a excellent overview of how the Bible applies to the civil and family sphere of government.  If you have no idea where to start then this is a good book to begin with.  These issues are important for Christians to know.  Unless we go back to Biblical law for our guidance then we will end up in complete horrific tyranny.  Broken up into 3-5 page chapters this book is easy to read.  Some of favorite chapters are:
