This is the greatest Christian biography that I have ever read.  Arnold Dalimore thoroughly goes through the whole life of one of the greatest evangelists England and America have ever known.  Learn the about influences that shaped Whitefield’s character as a young man and how he met John and Charles Wesley.  He had a powerful conversion to Christianity that led to him to preach why men must be born again and not just “believe in Jesus.”  Dalimore shows why this man George Whitefield was one of the most beloved and hated preachers of the 18th century.  Highly recommended!
