Cain married one of his sisters. All the first-generation siblings married each other in order to populate the earth. At the time there was no law against close-related marriage. (God didn’t outlaw close-related marriage until 2500 years later) But as the population grew large enough, and as the risk of genetic problems increased because of sin’s curse, God outlawed marriage between siblings.
What about natural selection?
Adaptation and natural selection are biological facts; amoeba-to-man evolution is not. Natural selection can only work on the genetic information present in a population of organisms—it cannot create new information. For example, since no known reptiles have genes for feathers, no amount of selection will produce a feathered reptile. Mutations in genes can only modify or eliminate existing structures, not create new ones. Charles Darwin said, “To suppose the human eye could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree.”(Origin of Species)
Is there evidence of a young earth and universe?
Evidence for a young earth and universe:
1. The rate helium is entering the atmosphere shows that there should be more of it if the earth is billions years old.
2. The rate sediment (mud) is entering the ocean would have filled the ocean up many times over if the earth was billions of years old.
3. At the rate the continents are eroding, the continents would have eroded more than 170 times over if the earth was billions of years old.
4. The current population of humans today could have come about in only 3700 years, while were said to have been here over 100 times longer!
5. With a galaxy of our size we should see a supernova every 25 years. Supernovas have 3 stages they go through. The 1st stage lasts 300 years, the 2nd stage lasts 120,000 years, and 3rd stage 6,000,000 years. If our galaxy is billions of years old we should see at least 5000 3rd stage supernovas. Actually there are only 200 2nd stage supernovas and ZERO 3rd stage supernovas have been observed. These truths all line up with the biblical time frame of the universe being around 6000-7000 years old!
Does science confirm the bible?
1. The earth is round (Isaiah 40:22)
2. The earth is suspended in space (Job 26:7)
3. 1st and 2nd Law of Thermodynamics (Isaiah 51:6)
4. Light moves (Job 38:19, 20)
5. Air has weight (Job 28:25)
6. Blood is the source of life and death (Leviticus 17:11)
7. Hands should be washed under running water (Leviticus (15:13)
The bible was written 2000-3000 years ago in a time when people had no way of knowing any of these things. These and many other examples prove the bible is inspired by God, the only One to have known such things!
What about the Ape-men?
Lucy- nearly all experts agree Lucy was just a 3 foot tall chimpanzee
Heidelberg man- Built from a jawbone that was conceded by many to be quite human
Nebraska man- Scientifically built up from one tooth, later found to be the tooth of an extinct pig
Piltdown man- the jawbone turned out to belong to a modern ape
Peking man- Supposedly 500,000 years old, but all evidence has disappeared
Neanderthal man- At the Int’l Congress of Zoology (1958) Dr. A.J.E. Cave said his examination showed that this famous skeleton found in France over 50 years ago is that of an old man who suffered from arthritis.
New Guinea man- Dates way back to 1970. Found in Northern Australia
Cro-magnon man- One of the earliest and best established fossils is at least equal in physique and brain capacity to modern man…so what’s the difference?
Modern man- this genius thinks we came from a monkey “Professing to be wise they became fools.” (Romans 1:22)
What about dating age methods?
Scientist’s say that the earth has been proved billions of years old by using carbon dating. But carbon dating can actually only give thousands of years!
Three unprovable assumptions have to be made when age dating:
1. The starting conditions are known.
2. Decay rates have always been constant.
3. Systems were closed or isolated that no parent or daughter isotopes were lost or added.
As you can see these conditions can never be known so the age of rocks, plants, etc., are unreliable. Over 90% of dating methods are less than evolutionists require. Also, all the dating techniques don’t even agree with each other. When a sample is submitted to the laboratory you have to fill out a form telling the lab how old you think it is even before they test it! Proof these dating methods don’t work was found out when an igneous rock was observed being formed in 1956. When the test results came back with the age of the rock it said it was over a million years old!
The only way to know the 100% truth of age is to ask someone who was there when the universe was formed. God Almighty was there and told Moses to write down the account of creation in Genesis 1. All the genealogies added up in the bible show that the earth is just a little over 6000 years old.

Many people believe that dinosaurs walked the earth over 65,000,000 years ago. In reality, God created all land animals and humans on the same day just over 6000 years ago. This concludes that dinosaurs and man walked together. Recently red blood cells, that could have not survive more than thousands of years, were found in a T. Rex bone. In fact, most of the bones that are found are not fully fossilized! In the U.S. a carving of a dinosaur, made by Indians, was found in a cave that was dated around 700A.D. The dinosaurs went extinct for the same reasons animals today go extinct.
Why isn’t this truth out in the public?
The simplest answer is that people do not want this information out. Because if you say that these things are true, then what God says in His Bible is true, meaning God created us and we are accountable to God. That is the main reason people do not want to believe.
