We as Christians must not have a poverty mindset.  God has given resources for us to use to build his Kingdom on this earth.  Money is one of the main resources.  Without money our printing presses for Bibles and books stop.  Without money we have no gas, no electricity, no tracts, clothing, etc.  "A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just (Proverbs 13:22)."  God warns us about the "love of money" and the "trust in riches."  But it is the LOVE of money and the TRUST in riches that He warns us about, but NOT money itself.  Consider these verses in the Bible:
  • He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich (Proverbs 10:4).
  • But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant (Deut. 8:18).
  • The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it(Prov 10:22).
  • The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute (Prov 12:24).
  • Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men (Prov 22:29).
